Seize the Opportunity Now that you Have it

Previously in our daily bible study, we discussed the topic; “Seize the opportunity now you have it.” We learnt that pharaoh was given the privilege by God to have a rethink in his attitude towards the Israelites, to release them from slavery, but he heeded not to that privilege to do so.

In the book of Exodus where the account of the ten plagues is recorded, we saw that, from the first to the seventh plague, the scripture says, “and Pharaoh hardened his heart.” It was at the 8 plague the bible stated that God hardened pharaoh’s heart. From this, we learned that, God gives us the opportunity to repent and amend our ways. But when we fail to utilize this opportunity, He might take away the privilege and give us a reprobate mind.
