Seize the Opportunity Now you Have it

Seize the opportunity now you have it

In today’s bible study, we will discuss a nugget titled, “Seize the opportunity Now you Have it.” This is a life-transforming bible nugget of wisdom that will inform you on how to seize any opportunity that comes your way.

In the previous daily bible nugget, we discussed the topic that says; “Time Wasted on Destiny – Time Management.” In that bible nugget, we discussed the importance of making every second in our lives count, and the need for us to stop wasting time on irrelevant things. We got the insight for the discussion from God’s instruction to Moses to get up very early in the morning and confront Pharaoh. Seeing that God advised Moses to get up very early in the morning teaches us the importance of being time conscious. For a task to be perfected, the deed must be done well, and at the right time.

Being time conscious and managing time well has a lot of advantages.

Many lessons on being time conscious, and not wasting time were discussed in that very bible study; we learnt that a wasted time is a wasted destiny, hence, we shouldn’t waste our destinies by wasting our time on irrelevant and worthless things.

In today’s bible study, we will discuss the topic that says; “Seize the Opportunity Now you Have it.”

In one of our previous articles titled, “Own up to your mistakes and make things right,” we hinted that, in as much as God said he was going to harden pharaoh’s heart, Pharaoh, however, did so purposely until after sometime. Pharaoh hardened his heart himself for a while, after which God had to give him a reprobate mind. From the first to the seventh plague, pharaoh hardened his heart himself.

Read the passages thoroughly, Exodus chapter 7 through 11, and you will observe that it was from the 8 plague the bible says; “and God hardened Pharaoh’s heart.”

From the first to the seventh plague, God gave Pharaoh the opportunity to choose to or not to harden his heart, but pharaoh failed to seize the opportunity. He made the wrong choice. It was after God saw that pharaoh was not ready to yield, that He then hardened his heart.

Seize the opportunity Now you Have it

God gives us the opportunity every day to amend our ways, He gives us the privilege every new day to start afresh and make things up for ourselves, He gives us second chance every day to set things right, to repent and return to him, but, some of us fail to seize the opportunity when we have it. The fact is that, nobody knows when that privilege and opportunity will be taken away.

Seize the opportunity now that you have it and make things right!

Reconcile with those you quarreled with now!
Do that kindness now!
Stop that bad habit now!
Take that job now!
Start that business now!
Give that relationship a chance now!
Now is the time to act. Do not forget that a privilege is not a right, it can be taking away at any time.

God is waiting for us to take the step, and once we do, he will perfect his work in our lives. May we never run short of God’s privileges, and may He never give us a reprobate mind.

May God assist is immensely to seize the opportunity now to make the right decisions in all our endeavors. Amen.
