When Amarylla’s father goes back on his word and surrenders his strong willed daughter to become the broodmare of the fiend prince, she‘s swept away to the kingdom of Terelaus. After a rocky start and a dagger to the throat Amarylla and her husband come to a tenuous truce in hope of surviving the fiend prince‘s tyrant father and his need for power no matter the cost.
Another book and another book boyfriend! Fast-paced, fantastic story telling, world-building to make even the staunchest fantasy reader swoon with all of my favorite tropes, enough angst to make you hurt and romance to make your heart melt with the tenderness makes this the perfect read for anyone who enjoys a good enemies to lovers tale. I’ve absolutely found another author to binge read and another one for my shelf!
5.0 out of 5 stars Spicy NA Stand-alone Fantasy Series

This is my second time reading a book in this series after seeing a BookTok aesthetic and I gotta say I’m a fan! This book was a quick read at just under 250 pages, relatively spicy and had plenty of plot and action to keep me engaged! In what seems to be a theme of her books, one of the couple was weak and frail but strong of mind and spirit. However, it was the Fiend Prince that stood no chance physically to the FMC. Their chemistry though was top notch and I enjoyed their banter throughout the book. I’m excited to continue the series and the rest of this author’s books!
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!

This book was amazing and if I could give it more stars I would. The world building was creative and unique especially with the sorcerers and how they were able to enhance their magic. The characters were well developed and interesting. I loved Amarylla because she was a very strong woman emotionally and physically and was able to overlook outward appearances. I liked that even though the fiend Prince was sickly he had his own inner strength. I loved the way he treated her and how their relationship progressed throughout the book. I wasn’t sure I would like this book without a strong hero but everything made sense and so if you’re on the fence with this one just read it because you will love it. The ending was my favorite and I can’t wait to read more from this author.
