Accidentally Engaged pdf book is a delectable romantic comedy about a woman who fakes an engagement to the boy next door to enter a couples cooking contest. Accidentally engaged was written by Farah Heron.
Accidentally Engaged Summary
When it comes to bread, Reena Manji knows exactly what she’s doing. She treats her sourdough starters like (somewhat unruly) children. But when it comes to Reena’s actual family—and their constant meddling in her life—well, that recipe always ends in disaster.
Now Reena’s parents have found her yet another potential Good Muslim Husband. This one has the body of Captain America, a delicious British accent, and lives right across the hall. He’s the perfect, mouthwatering temptation . . . and completely ruined by the unwelcome side dish of parental interference.
Reena refuses to marry anyone who works for her father. She won’t be attracted to Nadim’s sweet charm or gorgeous lopsided smile. That is, until the baking opportunity of a lifetime presents itself: a couples’ cooking competition with the prize of her dreams. Reena will do anything to win—even asking Nadim to pretend they’re engaged. But when it comes to love, baking your bread doesn’t always mean you get to eat it too.

This entire book just felt like a warm embrace. It just made me feel so happy and comforted. It’s not something I can fully explain but it fully felt like when you wrap yourself up in your favorite blanket just to feel enveloped.
I don’t make bread, I’m not a kitchen person at all, but Reena just felt so relatable to me. I think just generally as a woman in her early 30s, but also, just as someone that maybe doesn’t have it all figured out. She’s strong and independent, but she’s also a bit of a mess and I loved her. Nadim? I don’t even want to talk about Nadim. He’s just the biggest sweetheart. He’s one of those guys that you don’t think is a cinnamon roll, cause he’s strong and tough and he has a past, but he’s 1000% a cinnamon roll with Reena. He’s just so adorable.
Their fake relationship, their real relationship, all of it just did it for me. I loved navigating the cooking show with them, I would absolutely adore seeing this made into a movie or show just to watch them at the farm. IYKYK. I also loved that we really dive into Reena’s relationship with her family and her relationship with her profession. None of that is glossed over and I definitely appreciated all of it.
Come for the baking, stay for the undeniable chemistry and just general adorableness.

This was such an engrossing book and drew me in right away. I loved the family drama, the food and bread, the fake-dating turned real romance and all the characters. It gave us a glimpse into a world I don’t know much about and I just loved everything about it. Highly recommend this book! What a fun read.

Accidentally Engaged by Farrah Heron made my heart soar! It just had the right ingredients to make a perfect recipe for a romcom. There’s a lot of food talk so don’t read on an empty stomach!
I loved it. I loved the main characters Reena and Nadim. This was a closed door romance and you didn’t need all the sex details to feel the chemistry between these too. I loved Reena’s love for cooking and making bread, and I loved Nadim’s love of Reena’s cooking and making bread. I loved Reena’s real conversation about her mental health with Nadim and how her baking bread started as a way to keep herself busy and help her through episodes. I loved Reena’s family. I loved all the funny bits that made me laugh out loud. And who knew lice combing could be so sensual?! I loved it you guys, can’t you tell?
Move over enemies to lovers, I think fake dating/engagement is becoming my favorite trope.

I’m always a little nervous starting a book that is getting a lot of hype on bookstagram, but Accidentally Engaged is worth all of the praise. This book will draw you in and definitely make you hungry!
I loved this book! Reena and Nadim were such wonderful characters. I was easily drawn to both of them. I enjoyed the friends to lovers. I don’t always like romances that develop quickly, but these two seemed perfect for each other from the start. I loved their natural chemistry that was obvious from their earliest interactions. I especially loved when they cooked together.
I really enjoyed learning more about Reena and Nadim and their shared cultures, especially through the recipes they shared through the show.
I just adored the ending. It made me so happy. I highly recommend grabbing a copy when Accidentally Engaged is released in March!
