This was a solid story. Lucy carries the weight of her best friend’s death and it that effects the things she once loved. What was so great about this book is that it wasn’t the typical Hollywood version of how grief impacts our lives. So often people write what they seen onscreen which isn’t always realistic.
There is also a sweet YA love that is also woven throughout the book.
Overall it was a really great read. If you like well written, sport romance YA books than definitely pick this.

I really enjoyed this book. I admit I felt like crying in many parts of this novel. The characters, story, everything was amazingly written. The characters all had a complete background. The story was a sad one but every second of it, I loved it. I loved how Aiden and Lucy’s story grew. I liked seeing a bit of their past together with Ava. It was nice seeing how they started and where they ended up. I very much liked the epilogue in which they talk about where their love story begins and where the suffering kind of stops. I think this is my favourite out of all the novels by this author and I am excited to see what is next.

Laugh and cry this is what this book made me want to do and another thing is that I didn’t want to put it down. Another great book from Chrissy.
