The dynamics between the main characters is definitely unique. Colton and Pepper are divorced. His brother Finn enters the picture shortly after Colton and Pepper’s divorce and there is a flame burning just beneath the surface between Finn and Pepper. They’ve decided it would not be right to explore the sparks they both have acknowledged, as Colton’s brither and his ex-wife, it would be just wrong. Lots of things happen as Pepper tries to move on from her marriage and still the heat is hard to ignore between her and Finn. It ends with a cliffhanger as they once again try to close the door on their feelings. I am eager to go onto the next book in hopes that they can smarten up and hope it all works out to give them a happily ever after. I’m not feeling as bad for Colton as they seem to be. He left her to find happiness and What he did to her has to have some consequences so she can find happiness.

This is the first book from this author that I’ve read. I purchased this book late one night and stayed up until I finished it. Then before I went to bed, I ended up getting the rest of the series. From the first chapter I was hooked with emotions that was unexpected. I felt like these characters were real. I cried, laughed, got mad and cheered them on. I enjoyed this series so much that I purchased the printed version after reading all four on my kindle. I’ve read other series from this author on my kindle and have purchased those as well in print. I will reread them again. The men are so hot that you may end up fanning yourself, I know I was. This is my first review that I’ve ever written for a book and I hope who purchases the book after reading this that you enjoy it as much as I did.

After 5 years of being in a very happy marriage to Colton, Pepper is newly divorced. The reason….her husband finally tells her he’s gay. They remain best friends, then Colts bother, the doctor, moves in while waiting to buy a house. Pepper is immediately attracted to Finn but it’s her ex’s brother and that is just too weird. This is a wonderful read, I loved it, but it ends in a cliffhanger and I find out it is a four book series. The series could easily have been read in two books, but it was drawn out into four short books. I imagine this was done to make the maximum amount of money. While I really enjoyed the whole story, I felt taken advantage of.

I loved Peppers story so far. Pepper hasn’t ever had a family she was given up for adopted by her young birth mom. She meets Colton they get married and five years later he drops a bomb on her and they divorce, they are still besties just not meant for each other. She meets another guy he gets jealous of her friendship with her ex Colton. Follow her journey into love again and see who she ends up with. Ends on kind of cliff hanger but I love this book.
