Georgie reminds me of myself in the way how she thinks, even her type of humor. But for a woman she has no sense of self preservation because the fact that all the evidence was pointing to her crush and barely took a step back in fact she wanted to prove it wrong SO BADLY. Could never be me.
Regardless I loved the friendship between her and Amelia. I love Amelia’a relationship with her boyfriend and I love the relationship between all three characters. It was beautiful. I love how supportive and caring they are with each other. I LOVE ASH HOLY CRAP GIVE ME ONE OF HIM!!! Pls omg.

Only being 199 pages this was a super quick read. It helps that it was witty, cute and thrilling. We are taken along on Georgie’s adventure of online dating after a rough breakup… all things we are all probably familiar with in this day and age of dating. Except… there’s been a string of murders around campus and the connection they have to the new guy she’s been seeing is uncanny. This was such a cute read and definitely got my heart pumping in suspense.

I’ve read so many romance books this summer and at first glance Swipe Right for Murder seemed like another breezy romance read. Instead, I happily discovered it’s a thriller (that involves a romance) that kept me guessing about who the killer really was until the last few pages. If you like thrillers or romance books, try Swipe Right for Murder because it’s a great combination! It is a quick read, took me two afternoons, but I connected with the characters in the first chapter and after that I couldn’t put it down. Polly does a great job describing Georgie’s internal dialogue and feelings. The dialogue is funny and many of Georgie’s awkward dating situations are super relatable—especially if you’re in college or the post-college years. I realized I was stressed while reading the book because Polly did a great job creating tension and suspension throughout the book. If you think you know who the killer is, think again and keep reading!
