This was a good story about a serial killer. There are alot if interesting characters, several suspects. I did figure out who the killer was as he came on the scene in an unusual manner. It was obvious to me, but I did appreciate the way the story broke open. I was a bit surprised at the ending but maybe the next book will explain. The humor was nice, not overdone. I’m interested in following these 2 detectives on their next journey.

I hope to read book 2 but I subscribed to the author’s newsletter and, after reading about her overlapping and intersecting series, I’m not sure which book comes next. I’ll figure it out another day!
