I just recently re-read the whole series, adding in the Jaguar books when they seemed to fit in. This story has a twist to the introduction that makes you even more interested in seeing where this is going! I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series. There is a mystery and some action along with some sweet scenes and some steamy scenes! Nicole and Blake really seem to complement each other. The family dynamics are great to see, too! There is a fast pace, a positive tone and a character oriented storyline with some action and some steamy scenes. The characters are vibrant and endearing, including the dog Roscoe. This was a lot of fun to read, and I ended up reading it all in one sitting! Now I have to wait for the next one to come out! Sigh! If you like laughter and some action with you shifter romances, this is for you. You may want to read all of the Heart of a Wolf books. At the very least, I would read the Silver Town books before this! However, if you want to try this as your first book by Terry Spear, expect to end up wanting to read the rest! I know I did. Enjoy!

Paranormal wolf shifter romantic suspense.
Private Investigator Nicole Grayson has tracked down her suspect and is doing surveillance in the Colorado ski resort. She is soon friends with the Wolf pack that runs the hotel because of a hot kiss in the hotel lobby and an unsolved case from her past.

Sparks and sizzle between Nicole and Blake have the couple enamored with each other from the first time they meet lips. He’s adorable in his lust and protectiveness. She’s competent and confident in her job skills. While they generate a lot of heat and sex in the second half of the book, the feeling I got was more “how sweet” that’s he’s so drawn to her.
Overall an entrancing read.
