A very nice twist at the end. It was a slow beginning, but I get the author was trying to set a steady backstory.
It reads like a movie and it’s easy to imagine if Hollywood adapted this into a movie, how it would play out. That’s because Charlie gives good descriptions and once figuring out the writing style, it’s easy to follow. There are some parts where it jumps from character point of views, but again, if it were a movie, it would just be changing scenes.
I’m actually really impressed on the amount of research that was done to write this. Most things are pretty accurate and having that forensics background, I can confirm a lot of the details of the murder and the way things are done are spot on.
An overall great thriller with twists that are hard to predict. Most definitely worth the read!!!

This is a great story, I loved the way it all came together, but still had believable surprises at the end.

I usually guess the plot way before the end of the book. Just when I thought I knew what direction it was going there would be a twist. The ending was very satisfying. Usually everything fits in a neat little box but this book had an intesting plot and just enough twists and turns to keep me engaged and guessing most of the way.
