I know for sure that no amount of praise words would do justice to this book, because it was PHENOMENAL! Without question, my favorite book, and one of Lena’s best work.
All I wished while reading this book, was that I could read it forever and ever, because it was so good. I could not put it down.
I completely lost myself in the book, practically devouring the book in only a few hours, because it was so good and impossible to put down. At one point I genuinely feared for the life of anyone who dared to interrupt my reading. The story is so captivating and inviting, is like stepping down the rabbit hole and never wanting to come out again.
Parker and Sienna’s story hooked me from the prologue, and I swear I couldn’t put the book down.

The attraction and chemistry between Sienna and Parker was undeniable, and their story so well written. It wasn’t one of those instant love story, their story was a steady one, filled with back and forth steps.
I absolutely loved seeing Sienna so protective of Parker. Someone bad mouths him, and she is ready to cut that person into tiny pieces.
They are both driven and hard working, and I found it amusing how they tried, and later failed, to keep their distance, even though the attraction and connection between them it was undeniable.
I swear that I melted everytime Parker took care of Sienna and showed his gentle side. He was always so gentle (a side even him didn’t knew he had), kind and caring with her, always putting her and her needs and safety first.

They gravitated towards each other, always looking for the other or seeking the presence of each other.
And the sexual tension between them, and all that steam between them, oh my god I need to bath in holly water.
I just loved that their love wasn’t an instant one, we were there with them every step of the way, and it was just amazing to fall in love with the characters as the same time they did.
I said it, and I’m gonna say it again. Lena is a queen and I absolutely adore her and her writing. I am such a huge fan of hers, and I’m gonna make sure that I read all of her work. She has such a unique way with words and always manages to deliver amazing, charismatic and one of a kind characters. One of these characters being Parker, who owns me completely: body and soul.If you want a book that is gonna give you all the feels, and turn all your insides intro mush, that this book is definitely the one for you!
I can honestly say that I am a fan for life of Lena! And I am so excited to seeing more of her work because she is extremely talented. For me she is an instant buy author. I fell în love with her writing while reading her first book, and since then I’ve been a fan.

I am a sucker for a forced proximity/marriage of convenience trope and I wasn’t sure I would like this one, having met Parker in the previous book. Well, he has been redeemed!
Parker and Sienna were the perfect mix of grumpy/sunshine. Parker has been in the mafia for most of his life and one night he was running from enemies and ended up in the restaurant he frequents, where Sienna works and unknowingly put her in danger. He saves her life and together they go on the run to redemption ranch to seek solace and for Parker, to hopefully mend his relationship with his brother and sister who live there. On the way, Sienna suggests getting married so she can’t be forced to testify against Parker, should they get caught. Parker knows that isn’t how it works, but finds himself agreeing anyway. Things start off pretty rocky, especially with Parker’s mood swings. They give Sienna whiplash! But the more time they spend together in this tiny cottage, the better the understand each other and the physical attraction grows into more for both. Parker really is a good man despite what he shows people, and the more that is revealed about him and what he’s done to protect those he loves, will make you soon. Sienna is sunshine, always had a smile for everyone or a kind word, but she is far from naive. She balances out the grumpy Parker just right and together they make the perfect couple.
This was a great book that is part of a great series and I’m dying to get the sisters story next. If you like hot alpha males who would do anything for the women they love, along with a little suspense, you will definitely love this series.

Parker and Sienna are on the run from the Mafia. To save themselves, they must marry each other despite the fact that they barely know each other. Now subjected to close proximity, this married couple finds themselves fighting their attraction.
I really enjoyed going through the journey with them from the beginning. We get to know more about them — unraveling layers of complex personalities and histories — as they get to know each other and other folks at the Redemption Ranch, including Parker’s siblings. This is not your typical arranged marriage; the danger is breathing down their neck at every turn, and I love the strong element of suspense to go with the romance and spice.
Speaking of spice, this is most definitely a Lena Hendrix read with her trademark heat. She brings passion and chemistry, even as the two are just starting out.
I am always down for a visit to Redemption Ranch, and this stop has been incredibly fulfilling. If you love a spicy small-town romance book, this is a great pick. It can work as a standalone, but reading the entire series from the very beginning is worth it.
