I wouldn’t have read this book had I’d known it ended in a cliffhanger. With it being 300 pages I thought it’d take longer to read but only took about 6 or so hours.
The h had student loans and receives an anonymous check in the mail for the exact amount of her loans. She has to decide if she going to cash the check or rip it up. She then receives an invitation to meet the anonymous benefactor. This turns out to be the H and he decides to proposition her: spend a year with him and he’ll pay her a million dollars. Decisions decisions. Unfortunately the h has a mean, troublesome, gambling addicted mother that she feels entitled to help.
This story was good but not enough for me to get book 2. The excerpt below made me laugh so I thought to include it.

Normally I read western style books. Some have romance but not out right sex. Thought I’d give one a try? It has been a change to read it from the female point of view. Quite entertaining and more than just romance. The step into the physical aspects of female thoughts has been enticing. Hope you enjoy this book especially if your a male. The other aspects of the book draw it together nicely.

This is a steamy, suspenseful romance story that I enjoyed from beginning to end. This is my first book by this author and I look forward to reading more from this author. This is a well written story that has characters that not only bring the story to life but also turn the heat up. They connectable, steamy, strong and have great chemisty. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout the story. This is a fast paced story that has twists and turns like no other. It is an engaging story that was hard to put down. I enjoyed this author’s writing style as it made the story easy to read and entertaining. I really enjoyed this story and what the characters brought to the story. I highly recommend this book.
