I have read all of Penny’s books so far and this one was especially good. The only reason I am not giving 4 stars is it wraps up too quick. Bouvier’s condition was left dangling in the previous book, it was s a must reason to read this one and is present as a major theme throughout this book. For all the emphasis on Bouvier through out this book it just wraps it up with no real explanation, everything’s jis ust fine in the end. After becoming so invested in Bouvier , I thought his character deserved a better completion to his journey.

I would definitely recommend starting with the first book and reading them in order. I always learn something on a different topic from each book. Louise Penny is a very gifted author.
