Beauty and the Beast has always been my favorite Disney princess story, so I was so excited about this re-imaginig. The author did not disappoint! I loved all the references to the original movie throughout the book. I really enjoyed the two leads- they were both very relatable and I loved reading about their journey and personal growth as well as their budding romance. I highly recommend this book, especially if you’re a fan of Beauty and the Beast!

Jasmine OMG Girl Ms. Thang YOU Absolutely 1000% wrote this book. As this is the 1st book by you that I have ever read it is safe to say that I will read every book you ever publish. You write for those of us who do not get the opportunity to see us in an everyday light. My favorite thing about this book was that it was not dark, it was not too provocative (not going to lie though i would love to know if Buea and Izzy slept together… lol) this was perfection. All of the nods to Beauty and the Beast (kettle, the library, getting the keys to the house, clean shaven and the garden.) I love that she was surfing, I LOVE that she was from Jersey. This book, this series made my soul sing. I could read this book over and over again. It’s the perfect book that shows you what over thinking and under communicating will do to you. It’s perfect in all the ways.
