The Slater Norman series was okay but I thought Norman was the more interesting of the two. The Body on the Beach supports my thoughts. Norman’s easy laid back character is much more interesting.
South hall has shades of Goodnews, I hope it grows dimmer. I hope Norman and Southall do not. E-commerce an item. If they do the series will go down real quick. There is a good chemistry going, a romantic relationship is not needed.

Was glad to stumble back upon one that I had seen but no audiobook was available yet when I downloaded the ebook. Don’t remember now exactly where I left off in the series, and not sure if I missed a book, because the older cop had found a lovely wife and her kids, and he is single again. But on to the next one, and maybe the tale will be coming, or I can backtrack and find a book or two I missed.
