Can be read as a stand-alone, but for a better understanding of some of the characters that appeared in the first book, you may want to read that one first. An overview of events that affected Sienna in the first book will be given so that you will understand her life and the things that have shaped her into the person she is. The first book in the series is called The Hybrid Queen. If you want to check it out, King Sirius also features in it but not in any vital way that will affect this book.
