The Coven Summary

At the heart of this mesmerizing novel is a young individual meticulously forged into a weapon by their father, bound by an unbreakable oath to seek retribution against the elusive Coven. Guided by a compelling sense of duty, the protagonist’s journey propels them into the clandestine realm of Crystal Hollow—a place of concealed magic and whispered secrets, shielded from the scrutiny of mortals. It is within the hallowed halls of Hollow’s Grove University that the prodigious and extraordinary gather, honing their supernatural abilities without the constraints of human prejudice.

In this realm of enchantment, words resonate with unspoken power, and the legacy of bloodlines is both a source of pride and a burden to bear. Amidst the sweeping backdrop of magical academia, where prejudice is replaced with acceptance, the tempestuous currents of animosity surge forth from an unexpected source: Alaric Grayson Thorne, the captivating and maddening Headmaster. A tempestuous clash of personalities ensues, where mutual antipathy dances alongside an undeniable magnetic pull.

Yet, the shadows of Crystal Hollow harbor secrets far darker than the ink-stained pages of history dare to divulge. Whispers of a grim and bloody past linger like spectral echoes, threatening to sunder the very foundations of the esteemed institution. Veiled in obscurity is the tale of a massacre that once drenched the grounds in crimson, an event that forced the university’s abrupt closure, and now fuels the curiosity of those fortunate enough to be admitted within its fabled walls.

But now, after a hiatus spanning half a century, an extraordinary opportunity emerges—an opportunity that holds the promise of transformation and transcendence. Thirteen remarkable students, each endowed with boundless potential, are chosen as vessels of change by the Coven itself. Their destinies, intertwined with a legacy both revered and feared, are poised to reshape the world as they embark on a journey fraught with peril and promise.

As the echoes of history reverberate and specters of the past rise from their slumber, the harmony of Hollow’s Grove teeters on a precipice. The sins of the past demand retribution, and the once-victimized souls of the Grove may seek to avenge their unjust demise upon the Thirteen who dare to tread their path. With every twist and turn, a chilling question lingers in the air: will the Thirteen emerge triumphant, rising above the shadows of history, or will they succumb to the ghosts that haunt Hollow’s Grove?

“The Coven,” the inaugural installment in the spellbinding “Coven of Bones” series, beckons readers into a realm of gothic allure, dark academia intrigue, and paranormal romance, where the boundaries between loyalty and betrayal, duty and desire, blur into a symphony of enthralling storytelling. Yet, dear reader, be forewarned, for within these pages lie elements that may evoke a visceral response. This is a journey that climaxes in a crescendo of suspense, leaving you perched upon a tantalizing precipice, yearning for the revelations yet to come.

The Coven pdf Book Review (Amazon)

Fallen For Books
I’m shocked. The ending shocked me. It was quite slow paced in the Beginning but as it went further and answers were answered it became thrilling and exciting. The author said even the villain deserved HEA and i thought how could Gray be the villain. I fell in love with him. But as the story progressed my jaw was literally on the floor! What an expected thing to happen. I was as shocked as Willow. Can’t wait for the second book! I don’t know how the author will redeem Gray but I’m willing to see it.

THIS WAS AMAZING! Definitely one of my favorite reads this year!

“If it is order that you value, then I will bring you nothing but chaos.”

I haven’t been this OBSESSED about a story in a while! I’m still stunned…THIS WORKED PERFECTLY FOR ME. How will I survive the wait til August?!

The Romance was freaking amazing! Like, they SERVED Villain gets the Girl!

Gray was deliciously morally black. You love to hate him and hate to love him. His possessive site was hot, and I knew I shouldn’t fall for him, but I did it anyway…ups 😮‍💨

I LOVED how refreshing Willow was. She is not the typical clueless FMC discovering that she is actually a witch and has to attend this new school.
No – Willow is a badass and has ulterior motives.

The magic concept was creepy, and I was so here for it! A huge pet peeve of mine is having witches in your story, only to have them use their powers sparely.
Not here.
It gets messy here!

I also loved the concept of witches and vessels. Vessels are like a mix of vampires and demons, so be prepared for a lot of bit îng 😏

The ending has me counting down the days for book 2 to come out. August seems so far away! What am I supposed to do with myself?
HIGHLY recommend!
