Silvia Lauren is the duchess of the Aswan estate and the wife of the bloodthirsty war addict, Duke Victor Aswan. She is also one-month pregnant with Victor’s first child. At least, that’s the facade she has created in order to secretly reside in the duke’s castle while he is away fighting in a war. But when Victor returns from battle much earlier than anticipated, Silvia fears that her intricate lies will all come to light. However, instead of throwing her out of his home right away, Victor decides to go along with her scheme and happily awaits the birth of his nonexistent child—and by happily, it’s more like threateningly. How long will Silvia be able to keep up with her lies and remain by the ruthless duke’s side?

The storyline was simply short and sweet. I wouldnt categorize it as smut but adult as the storyline was solid enough without the sexual content.

I unexpectedly liked this one. Was short and didn’t drag. Unlike others, I thought the premise was funny. I liked both ML and FL.

The first few chapters were funny and light hearted. Then as we go on the ML’s lack of communication Andy the FL’s flakiness just became unbearable.

ridiculous plot and annoying fl. it doesn’t even make sense to me how quickly ml opened up to a scammer …. pretty privilege I guess since her personality is insufferable.

She literally squats at this dude’s house and lives like a leech. The ML might be a bloodthirsty warrior, but he hasn’t done anything to her or abused her. She literally just walks in, pretends she’s pregnant, and demands the ML accommodate her.
Artwork is awesome though.
