Roman is the pack Alpha. Isabella is 17 and will be 18 in a few days and is waiting to find her true mate. Roman and Isabella grew up together and there is a spark between them but both are trying to deny it. Isabella teases and pushes Roman to his limits on a regular basis but as pack Alpha Roman has to fight his instincts and keep Isabella safe. All Isabella has ever wanted was to be a warrior for the pack. She has a very strong instinct to protect but when it is time to find out her placement she has been assigned as a nurse instead of a warrior by her Alpha . She is hurt and doesn’t understand why she is being punished, she is the best fighter in the whole pack. Isabella has a decision to make, achieve her dream of being a warrior or stay with her pack and family and her true mate. Will she be able to live with the choice she makes? There are more people involved and a couple of back stories that make this book very compelling. I loved this book, the story is original and the characters are amazing. If you love shifters this is a must read!
