Sacrificed to the Fae King is a Werewolf & Shifter Romance novel by Lola Glass. Read summary below.
When the fae came, their magic brought destruction that only stopped when we offered them the one thing they wanted:
Wives for their kings.
I was selected “at random”.
Sacrificed to the fae.
But the sexy, infuriating king I’m paired with doesn’t want my body or soul; he wants my help.
Thanks to some kind of prophecy, he and his people think I can get them back home.
Getting them back to Avalon will require taking some of the king’s magic, which is unstable on the best of days and catastrophic on the worst. When the power takes more effort to control than I would’ve ever guessed, and I’m forced to turn to my husband for help.
But the fae never give anything away for free; especially knowledge.
It was supposed to be simple:
Marry the king, save the world.
But now that we’re married, and his power is becoming mine, our marriage might end up destroying the world… and I might be the one who destroys it.

To me the best books are ones where you become fully immersed with believable characters that you feel truly invested in. This series does that and more. The characters were so real and you could see how they grew and changed throughout the series. I loved the way the author built this world so you could really picture it all.
The two main characters have a great relationship with plenty of ups and downs and lots of spice and the secondary characters are great as well. I found myself wishing there were series about the other characters so I could learn more about how their relationships and lives played out. This series kept me guessing and fully engaged throughout.
If you like fantasy books, fae books or just a great story then you’ll enjoy this series. I recommend it strongly.

Written very choppy and quite frankly, boring. I wasn’t interested in any character at all. The story line was there, but really fell short in the building of the world. Just because it’s a book filled with 800 words, does not make it a great, or even good book to read.
I gave up about a third in, lack of connection, real story line. I was bored and the dialogue was miserable to get through.
I’m Lola Author Of Sacrificed to the Fae King: The Complete Series Book, She is a book lover with a *slight* romance obsession. I read a ton, write a ton, and have an unhealthy relationship with candy. My books are always steamy, new-adult aged male/female reads, with everything from romantasy standalones to werewolf romance trilogies. And there is ALWAYS an HEA.
