Zuo Fan’s father was arrested for deserting his post when a huge monster tide swept through Sharnwich City. Zuo Fan is determined to clear his father’s name and save him from his death sentence, but that’s easier said than done when he’s a low-level warrior hated for being a traitor’s son. However, things take a surprising turn when he’s betrayed by his party and left to die in a monster lair. Thanks to the sudden activation of a mysterious warrior system, Francis’ lethal wounds are healed and his fighting skills are boosted. I am optimistic because the plot his father is quite interesting. The world is quite classic but I enjoy those types of stories story (hunter/monster/gates…)

this is one of those stories where monsters are invading the modern world, people get powers and the MC gets a system.
contrary to how these stories usually do it ranks are not only cassefied as F,E,D,C,B,A (so far i’ve only seen up to C, but i suppose that B and A also exist and perhaps even S) but these ranks also have names. there are also skills of different grades that can be learned and trained. this all bears a lot of resemblance to cultivation systems.
another thing to note is that this is not a ‘mankind VS monsters’ kind of story but is more focused on the ‘humans VS humans with monsters roaming around’ aspects.
the MC is strong but not OP. he is able to grow stronger at a much faster rate than pretty much anyone else but only advances one rank at the time, while having enemies of similar or higher strength than his (similar to how some cultivation stories progress).
the story and characters are well thought out and the art is pretty good.
overall, it’s a decent story. however, as i was more intrested in a humanity VS monsters type of story this wasn’t exactly what i was looking for.

This manhua is really similar to Full time mage ( a.k.a versatile mage) but more refined.
The arcs are quite similar and the art is better.
Some of the things maybe quite irritating to veteran readers but this manhwa is good for your average reader.

I may not know much but it has a little bit of SAO and SOLO LEVELING vibe “for me atleast and also its actualy great”
Edit : I’ve seen more and I’m starting to hate the story but its still great for me to read, I’ve gotten more experience on art and its quite great. but story and character-wise I’ve deducted points cause their are a lot of better reads than this.
