So I really love Adrian. Like really love him. Honestly, I probably already married him though. My husband is 6’5″ and has reddish brown hair and it’s curly too. Man, I did marry Adrian IRL, didn’t I? The entire time I read this book, I pictured him to look like my husband with a longer beard and a bit more buff, less fluffy. My husband rocks a dad-bod 🙂
Anyway, the story was great even if Liv ticked me off most of the time. I get being oblivious when someone is into you, I am too, but Liv is a whole new level of that. Poor Adrian! Eventually he gets the girl though!
I really enjoyed reading more about the town and the pack society there. Mystic Cove gets more interesting as I read each book in this series. Beverly too gets more interesting. This time, she barely had to put in any work!
I thought that Liv and Adrian together were really sweet. Adrian is of course, great. Honestly, I understand why Liv would love him. Adrian was perfect. Total book boyfriend material. Liv had some growth to do and she did it in this book. I always like to mention character growth in my reviews because I feel it is super important for at least one of the main characters to grow and change. Otherwise, the story would be boring! Adrian grows out of his shell a little but for the most part, he didn’t need to change so much – and that is okay!
I do recommend this book, series, and author. Daphne writes really great, clean, romcoms and I love them. They always make me smile!.

Fun story. Not quite what I expected. I thought there would be more blind dates in the book. I’m not complaining. There were some awkward dates at the beginning of the book. There was more adventure in the story than I expected and that was a nice surprise. And of course the couple were just too cute together (Olivia and Adrianne). This was my first book by this author but I don’t think it will be my last.
