A Paranormal Cozy Mystery Brimstone – a town where supernatural beings live – and where crime is on the increase. Just like her gran, Cassia Winter is a witch. The Winter witches are responsible for investigating crimes in Brimstone. The only problem is, Cassia doesn’t know she’s a witch yet. When Gran tells Cassia about her true nature, Cassia dismisses it as nonsense. But a terrible incident causes Cassia to change her mind. With her cat, Stanley, at her side, Cassia enters Brimstone and is soon investigating the murder of a werewolf.

Kindle Unlimited, had 4 of the 4 of the set so far from freebies day {the latest is 4} but stopped to check for that when saw it was ku and that had just gotten 4 {but some things were ‘off’ so decided to go back to the beginning and through them all to give a fair shake} and ended up also finding The Leprechaun’s Last Trick (A Brimstone Witch Mystery) which is also one from a freebie day, so really least could do is read/review them ALL. {it’s up to 10 now, so 3 sets of 3, leaving out 1 and 1.5}

With her cat, Stanley, at her side, Cassia enters Brimstone and is soon investigating the murder of a werewolf. {Do wonder why the one guy would send the main character off by herself since he knew there was a murderer running loose and that she wasn’t even familar with the area.} Can describe all sorts of things but can’t simply say she put the bottle back in her pocket {if she did, and when}. Typos/missing words here and there, minus that still a 4-ish.
