What a hauntingly beautiful read. This was a book besties pick for our book club…and what an introduction to a new author. I had never read this author, and I am so glad this was picked for our read. It had all the feels, every last one. I laughed, I cried, I was mad, I was shocked, but mostly I was loved, it was everything you could want in a soulmate romance. These two meet when they are young, he is 4 years older and her brothers best friend. Gray is always saving Drew, which started when they were young. Things develop when she graduates high school, and he graduates college. One thing I really want to praise on, is that during the time span they are apart, her in college and him in the military, these two never stray from each other, and I appreciated that. Because this was such an emotional read, and you could feel their deep soulmate love for each other, I would have been so devastated had they strayed from each other with other people, but they never did, and I thank Tia Louise so much for that. It made this hopeless romantics heart so happy, so thank you, because these two and their endless love for each other was everything. Through all the hard and emotionally spent times, the one thing you could count on was their undying devotion and love for each other, and it really was everything, they felt like home.
Safe read, with two of the sweetest souls, an undying love that will absolutely tug at your heartstrings. This was a rollercoaster ride of emotions, but is was so worth the ride for them to find their home. Because we all need a home for our happy place, and sometimes that is just as simple as a person, our everything. A sweet epilogue and a much deserved hea. Next book please, I will be diving into Ruby’s book next (her quirky bestie that I adored)…this is where I put up my DO NOT DISTURB sign. Thank you Tia Louise for an amazing read.

Tia does it again. A wonderfully written story about true love that pulls you in from the first turn page. This story is filled with characters that you can’t help but get lost in.
Gray and Drew were two people in a very small town that were just meant to be. If it weren’t for their different social standings and Gray being her brother’s best friend they could have been together.
Gray knew he had to make more of himself before he could be with Drew. In order to make it happen, he joins the Marines with Danny in order to go got college. It’s during their deployment when tragedy hits. It’s a tragedy that would either make or break their relationship and shake the foundation of who they are as individuals and a couple.
Their journey had me on edge. You really wanted these two people who were so obviously meant to be to have their happy ending. When it finally happens you will be left sighing in contentment. Loved this book so hard!

Loved these characters! Grayson Cole was best friends with Danny Harris since they were kids. Drew Harris was Danny’s younger sister and often followed the boys around. When Drew was 7 she came across a snake in the yard and Grayson picked her up and took her to her mother and from that moment, Drew knew Grayson would always be there for her and it was that moment that Grayson knew he could never deny Drew of anything.
As teens things changed. Grayson and Drew grew closer and he had all her “firsts”., up until he joined the military with her brother. I loved the connection and the calming effect these two had on each other and their continued love and support, no matter what others thought.
