This could have easily been called Fallout Generations. Its great to see a few known names returning and new ones introduced but seemingly familiar characters. The Fallout universe has been expanded in a completely different direction, this gives an excellent continuation/new branch to an already great series.
The world has sort of rebuilt itself after the events of the Zombie Fallout universe, however a new threat is emerging in the form of Lycans, these pureblood creatures can create werewolves and have decided that man needs to be ruled and eaten! Michael Talbot is a hangover from the previous Armageddon as he was left half human half vampire and has been moping about every since his family died off. However, as always, he is dragged back into the front lines to help the human race, whether they want him or not. The book does not dwell on the past too much and there is action from start to finish, the story and world develops quickly.
I think that if you are new to Mark Tufo you could start with this book as there is a large disconnect to the Zombie Fallout series, however I would recommend to go back to the start.
If you are a ZF fan then you do not really need to be sold this book as its already on your to-buy list. Its fresh and still packs a punch with its shocks and cliffhangers just in a more lycan/werewolf way. I especially like the way that Mark has left a gap and a tentative bit of info that will allow a continuation of the ZF series (this stuff needs explaining Mark!).
Great read from start to finish, for me they are never long enough but then again they never will be, the multiple universes and one-offs means that a new Tufo book is never far away, you just never know where it is going to be!

After his tour he went into the Human Resources field with a worldwide financial institution and has gone back to college at CTU to complete his masters.
