Hoodwinked into Her First Kiss Summary
Joo-in herself transported into the world of “Reaching for the Stars”, a popular historical romance novel that she has read before. She realizes that she has taken over the body of Lydia, a concubine of the emperor who was killed by him for interfering with his love for the heroine, Rosaline.
Joo-in, now Lydia, decides to stay away from the imperial palace and live a quiet life in her own residence. She hopes to avoid any contact with the emperor and Rosaline, who are destined to be together. However, fate has other plans for her. She meets Mar, a handsome and mysterious man who claims to be a servant who ran away from the palace. He offers to help her adjust to her new life and becomes her friend.
Lydia soon finds out that Mar is not who he says he is. He is actually the emperor’s twin brother, who was banished from the palace when he was young.
