I have a love hate relationship with this book. The beginning I loved and I couldn’t put it down but then about halfway through the book it starts skipping important things. Like who the murderer is and how they were caught. That should have been easily a entire chapter and not just a few minutes of the main character thinking about it happening. It skips several other important parts too. Like why all of a sudden did the original werewolf and crash a huge party? The author just mentions that he did when the reader doesn’t even know anything about a party or the original being part of the story until a while later. It’s thrown in there almost as an after thought and draws away from the main story. I am not sure why key parts of the storyline were omitted…. I was tempted to put the book down several times but continued to the end hoping it would get back on track but it fell short.

I was really impressed with this book. So much excitement and danger. It kept me on the edge of my seat. The characters were intense and so loving. It takes a few stumbles but these two finally get it right. The author has such a wicked sense of humor. Loved the dialogue.
