I like this series, a lot. This is a fun groups of people. What happens after a reality show, what happens when folks grow up. 4th in the series and i love the way it starts – it can certainly be read as a standalone. But as I started reading it I went back to 3 just to remember and reread. Writing is clear and no nonsense – details are provided when needed but in just the right amount. I will admit I am east coast all the way so cannot speak to the accuracy of the descriptions but man I sure can picture it and it looks amazing. I love the characters – real, relatable, a bit of drama. some chemistry and so much more. Feel free to start here with the series then read the others. This is one you won’t want to miss and I cannot wait for the next one.

Laguna Sights by Kaira Rouda…This was such a fun quick sweet love story with lots of drama. We get a glimpse of how the rich and elite live. The characters a very enjoyable and you are pulling for Scott and Jamie, they have so much chemistry and perfect together. This was my first book by Kaira Rouda and I can’t wait to read the next. I love this series, I always look forward to a new release. Amazing and charming characters, a wonderful, relaxing and cozy setting, really exciting plots, it is impossible not to love. All the protagonists of these episodes, when they were teenagers, had partecipated in a reality, some of them has continued their career in television or in Hollywood, others has remained in Laguna Beach, and has continued their simple life. The protagonist of this story, Scott is one of those who has had a distinguished career, is starring in a soap opera. After a very long lasting but very unsatisfying relationship, he doesn’t feel the need to fall in love but he would take someone at his side with whom to share his life. He meets Jamie and she could really be the right one. But she has had a violent relationship, in which she suffered so much. She loves Scott but fear blocks her. Can she overcome and heal her wounds and believe in a happy and peaceful future with Scott?
The love story is really sweet but painful, troubled, and the chemistry between them is very strong. Jamie is adorable, insecure, weak, gives off so much tenderness. Her life was really tough, she has suffered since childhood. Scott is charming, kind, the only one able to restore confidence in Jamie. It seems that his life is perfect but in reality once the lights of the set off, he is very lonely.
