That being said, I highly liked this book. Rivard always manages to make a story from nothing. She’s a great author, no doubt.
But what is cringe worthy is that this story was actually a seven part series first. One of biggest pet peeves is how she charges $2.99 for each part and each part gets less and less page count. So for $28.00 + you’d only get a total of 370 + pages. Not worth it. Now that she has pulled all of her parts together and charges $4.99 for it, well that’s more acceptable. Anyway, luckily I already have the next book, so I’m off to read that one next.

I originally read Enslaved by the Alpha in the serials in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed their story so much that I bought the set as soon as I saw it in the Kindle store.
Astrid comes to Eric’s land in search of her sister who has mated with the alpha of another pack. She ends up (after quite some drama) captured and taken back with Erik and his pack. The story continues from there with lots of action, drama, some tears (at least from me), and some funny moments. I love how both Erik and Astrid grow and develop throughout the story. A lot happens between and to these two, making Enslaved by the Alpha a great read.
I’ve been a fan of Viola Ricard for a while. This book is another well-written story in her collection. It’s absolutely worth buying!

LOVE this series!! This book had me on the edge of my seat! Between Erik’s aggressive dominance and alpha approach, and Astrid’s ‘I’m not afraid of you’ attitude, these 2 clashed at every turn. I felt like I was in her shoes most times while reading. I love that this author can put you right THERE and make you feel like its you.
I enjoyed watching Erik grow a little and how much these 2 fell in love. I laughed, cried, and wanted to throw things at the same time.

I’m a big fan of Ms. Rivard. I think she could write about a postage stamp and churn out a best seller. So saying, Enslaved By The Alpha did not disappoint. I love her female characters, human and wolf alike. They will draw an emotion from you one way or another, whether it’s hate, annoyance, pity, or grudging affection. The wolves, well of course, they put the A in alpha.
