As a longtime fan of Nancy Werlin, I was more than excited to open this book. The only problem was, I couldn’t close it. Couldn’t put it down. So, be warned, find a few hours you can steal so you can turn those pages as fast as you can. The story is full of believable and satisfying twists and turns, but what I loved most were the compelling and original voices of the two leads. I read almost constantly, and can’t remember a narrator who only refers to himself as “you.” This was amazingly well done, as was the entire book. Get it, and read it, as fast as you can!

My view of this book fluctuated. Five kids together when a building falls. One comes up with the crazy idea that his mother is trying to kill him and the story is on its way. In some ways the story moves fast but in other ways it seems to bog down. There is enough twist turns an action to make it a book worth reading however and the way the teenagers work together makes them likable.
